Privacy notice
This notice covers one thing only: the request form on yourbestskins.com and the emails that follow from it. It explains what you send us, why we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What the form collects
- Your name as it appears on the card and the email address you want us to reply to.
- Payment details: Acquirer Reference Number, amount, currency, statement date and, optionally, the last four digits of the card.
- Order details you choose to give: order number, the skins bought and your Steam trade link or SteamID64.
- Whatever you write in the free-text box.
- The IP address the request came from and the time it arrived, which we use to block abuse of the form.
We do not ask for, and you should not send, a full card number, CVV, PIN, one-time passcodes or any Steam login details.
Why we use it
We use these details to match your request to a payment and an order, to answer you, and to keep a record of what was agreed. Our legal basis under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 is our legitimate interest in resolving payment questions, and, where a refund or correction is due, the performance of the contract you entered into when you paid.
Who sees it
Your request arrives in our billing team's mailbox and is read only by staff who deal with payments. Where it is needed to settle a dispute, we may share the relevant payment details with the bank or card processor that handled the transaction. We do not sell your data or use it for marketing.
How long we keep it
Requests and the related email threads are kept for up to 24 months after the matter is closed, so we can answer any follow-up from you or your bank. After that they are deleted. IP addresses held for abuse protection are cleared within 30 days.
Cookies
This page sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it, by writing to [email protected]. Please mention your request reference if you have one. We will reply within one month.
